Well, I got rid of this blog about 6 years ago, I thought that I wasn't keeping up with the music or the blog quite as much as I did when I started this whole thing. I used to spend hours searching the internet for all the songs, and in the last few years my searching for music has left the internet and now I have become a hipster who has folded into the revitalization of vinyl. Half of the fun is the hunt of looking over an old box of vinyls, looking for something to catch your eye, whether it be a familiar name or some outlandish artwork. I also suffered multiple hard drive crashes and after losing multiple large collections of my digital libraries of music I do take some enjoyment in having some hard copy music again in my life.
I realize that with the growth in popularity of Pandora and Spotify people have the availability of finding a lot of new artists on their own now. So maybe I am not even relevant anymore, but I miss the good old days of showing people a couple new artists they should be on the lookout for. And worse case scenario I can always slink back into the dark corner of the internet I crawled out.
